Rebecca Lerner on Plant Consciousness

“Most impressive of all, some plants can actually communicate with sound, just like people do.” Rebecca Lerner, author of the forthcoming Dandelion Hunter: Foraging the Urban Wilderness, gives her take on plant consciousness over at Reality Sandwich.

Lerner cites a few scientific articles in her own piece; here is the plant bioacoustics paper that she mentions, which talks about corn roots clicking to communicate.
